Pavilion ~ Douglas G. Bryant Sr., age 72, died at home on Friday, August 4, 2017.
He was born September 6, 1944 in Batavia, a son of the late George and Audrey White Bryant.
Doug was a Vietnam Era veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He was very proud of his services for his country. Dedicated to helping fellow veterans, Doug became the director of the NAM Era Services Center in Batavia and was also instrumental in the formation of the Vietnam Veterans of America #193 and was a charter member.
He enjoyed life fishing and hunting, but more importantly, he loved spending time and reminiscing with his family.
Doug is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Darlene; his beloved children, Daryl (Wendy) Bryant, Doug Bryant Jr., Danielle Bryant and Deanna Bryant (Jeremy); his cherished grandchildren, Maria, Allison, Dillon, Gabrielle, Dion, Nathan, Douglas, Savannah, Jack, Hannah and Haley; his treasured great-grandchildren, Xavier, Adrian, Eva and Leonardo; his brother, Randy (JanAnn) Bryant, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his mother and father, Doug was predeceased by his brother, David.
There will be no prior visitation and services will be at the convenience of Doug’s family.
