LeRoy ~ Mary C. Leone, age 95, passed away Thursday evening (July 21, 2016) at the Genesee County Nursing Home in Batavia. Mrs. Leone was born June 20, 1921 in LeRoy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary O'Geen Corcimiglia. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She was also known to be a great cook and enjoyed reading and working on various crafts. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (late D. Michael) Murray of Batavia, Nelson (Deanna) Leone of LeRoy and Margaret (Vincent Carey) Leone of Plattsburgh; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Connie Leone, Josephine Culotta and Arlene Cichocki, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel in 2006 and five siblings. Mrs. Leone's family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Genesee County Nursing Home's care providers for all the love and support that their mom received during her stay there. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy. Her Rite of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy. The courtesy of no flowers is requested with memorials suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
