LeRoy ~ Linda L. Murphy, age 74, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, with her family by her side, after a long illness. She was born June 22, 1942 in Batavia, a daughter of the late George and Olive Druar Northrup. She will be remembered as a loving wife and best friend to all who knew her. She loved knitting, sewing, reading and trips to the beach. She is survived by her loving husband, William Murphy; her children, Donald Woodward (Anne Marie), Elizabeth Holly and Dan (Amanda) Faville; her grandchildren, Kristin (Brad) Garrett, Kerry Woodward (Chuck Hammon), Katheryne Davis, Jordan Smart, Kristopher Holly and Daniel Faville; great-grandchildren, Addison and Annabelle Garrett; her brother, Steve (Jill) Northrup; her sister, Margaret Northrup and a nephew, Robert Northrup. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph Woodward. Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 2 ~ 4 and 6 ~ 7:30 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where her Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to United Memorial Medical Center Foundation, c/o Comfort Care, 127 North Street, Batavia, N.Y. 14020.
