LeRoy ~ Harold "Harry" G. Peltzer, age 94, of Poplar Lane, passed away early Monday morning (March 12, 2018) at the Garden View Senior Care in LeRoy.

     He was born August 9, 1923 in Southington, CT, a son of the late Gustave and Martha Matkoff Peltzer.

     Harry was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Europe during WWII.  He retired from LeRoy Machine after 37 years of service as a computer and payroll technician.  He provided 17 years of service with LeRoy Volunteer Ambulance and enjoyed playing golf.

     He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Patricia Lapp Peltzer; his children, Nancy (David) West of Stafford and Daniel Peltzer of LeRoy; two grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Grice of LeRoy, along with many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Arnold Peltzer, Norman Peltzer, Eleanor Wasserman, Helen Winkler and Ruth Mirante, and his brother in law, Bradford Grice.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 ~ 11 AM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, followed by military honors.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy, N.Y. 14482.
