I have been truly saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend, mentor, union brother, Kermit.
I not only got to work with, and know him, I have been able to work with and know his brother Gary, and his nephew Mike.

Dear Pat, I am so very sorry to hear of Kermits passing. He was such a sweet guy. He always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him. He loved his grandkids so much. Thats all we would talk about is him and you going to see them play football and basketball. He will be sadly missed. I want you to know if you ever need anything I will be here for you.

So sorry to hear the news of Kerms passing, you were the light of his life and you both were incredible examples of what a marriage is built on. Kerm was a very kind and giving soul that would do almost anything to help out his family and friends. I have many wonderful memories with you both that I will cherish all the days of my life. Although your life will never be the same you also have many cherished memories, when you feel sad take a minute and remember one of those memories and hopefully it will put a smile on your face and make you feel at peace. I will pray for you and hope you can do as well as you can my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Only got to know him over the last few years. Struck me as smart, intuitive, inclusive, community minded, and had an advanced sense of humor.

Pat I am so sorry for your loss . You and Kermit made a great couple from High School and through many years beyond. Kermit always had a smile and warm greeting for me the few times we have met over the years. I got to know him best when we went through Basic Training together in the U.S. Army.
