Bergen ~ Carole Ann Hemmer Alianell, age 78, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home. She was born September 9, 1934 in Wayland, New York to the late Fred and Harriet Hemmer. Mrs. Alianell was a retiree of the Taylor Instrument Company in Rochester after 25 years of service as their payroll clerk. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Alianell, her children, sons, David Alianell of Rochester and Dr. Sam (Alice) Alianell of The Woodlands, TX, daughter, Diane (John) Carson of Sanford, NC, her beloved grandchildren, Albert , Amy (Tony), Colton, Jeshua & Sammy and great grandsons Aiden and Austin, sisters Marilyn,(Donald) Pursel of LeRoy, Jean (Ron) Pangrazio of LeRoy, brothers Jim (Mickey) Hemmer of CA, Tom (Joanne) Hemmer of CA and many loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Butler, and a brother and sister in law, Charlie and Kathleen Alianell. A special thank you goes out to the staff of Emeritus at Landing of Brockport and the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home for the wonderful support and care you provided to our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. There are no prior calling hours. Her Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, (St. Peter's Church), 44 Lake Street, LeRoy, NY. Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
