I grew up down the street from the Ashley’s and spent many days and nights over there playing Axis and Allies and Risk, our paths crossed but not sure I can say I really knew him. But what I do know is he raised two great young men whom I’m sure he has to be proud of and that makes him a great man and father. RIP Ray and my condolences to the family.

Joe & I send our condolences to the Ashley Family. Jean, Todd & Chad our families go way back. Lots of fond memories from our sons playing football at Hartwood. Ray was a very supportive parent & he will be so missed. RIP RAY & God Bless your loving family as they carry on.
So sorry to hear of Ray's passing. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and players. One of my favorite memories is of him sitting out by our garage with my father "Pete" Wood and talking for hours.
Q: What will you miss most about Ray?
A: Ray was a good friend. We went to coffee every morning for many years with our group of friends. We shared a lot of laughs and stories. I miss those times. Ray will be missed and remembered often. May he rest in peace in Gods care.
