Despite being a distant niece that only got to spend minimal time with my Aunt Donna, Her eloquence and grace always inspired me. I remember being a small girl in Leroy in the summer time when they lived in the brick house, I was playing with my cousins and fell and cut my knee. I thought that was the end to my wonderful day, but Aunt Donna took me into her home , wiped my tears ever so gently and cleaned my injury up and sealed it with a kiss . She told me not to allow one bad moment in your day to take the rest of that day. That I could start my day over at anytime. I have held onto those words and refer to them repeatedly in my daily life. Thank-you Aunt Donna for your caring wisdom and grace. You will always be loved and missed.
