Stacey Jo Call Daprizio, age 56, passed away on January 29, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Batavia, New York, on March 4, 1968, the daughter of Murray W. Call and Pamela (Beswick) Herdegen. Stacey had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying activities like hiking, fishing, and boating. She was a passionate animal lover, especially fond of cats, and cherished the time spent with her friends and family. Known for her loving, caring, and compassionate nature, Stacey lived life as a free spirit with a fun-loving personality and a smile that could light up any room.
Her true calling in life was becoming a nurse. Stacey attended Trocaire College, where she earned her Registered Nurse (RN) degree. She went on to work as a supervising RN at the Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home, a job that was a significant part of her life. In addition to her work, Stacey generously volunteered as an RN for Hospice.
Stacey is survived by her mother, Pamela (Beswick) Herdegen; her father, Murray W. Call, and his wife Janet Call; her domestic partner of 12 years, Dave Popielinski; her daughters, Peyton (Daprizio) Kinney (Trenton) and Katlyn (Daprizio) Floth (Josh); her sister, Stephanie (Call) D’Alba (Peter); her nephews, Bryce and Baylee D’Alba; her step-sister, Rhonda (Herdegen) Fox (Dennis) Nephews Edward James and Alexander; and her step-brother, Kenneth Herdegen (Marie) Nieces Kayla and Lyssa. She was predeceased by her step-father, Rodney J. Herdegen.
