LeRoy ~ Derrick E. Pickard, age 65, passed away on March 22, 2025 at his home. He was born September 21, 1959 in Rochester to the late Dian Rush and Earl Pickard Sr.

Rick was an avid Bills fan and watched faithfully each year to see if this was finally their year. When he was younger, he loved working with his hands, whether it was working fixing cars or heaters and boilers. As he grew older, he enjoyed hearing about the accomplishments of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his three children, Lisa (John) Zalacca of Canandaigua, Scot (Katelin) Pickard of LeRoy and Sara Pickard (Josh Adair) of East Bethany; grandchildren, Alyssa, Jason, Emma, Felicity, Evan, Ella, Jacob and Dillon; his sisters, Linda Woodworth of Corning and Evelyn Scharf of Corning; his brother, Mark Pickard of Bath, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Derrick was predeceased by his step-father, Carl Rush; brother, Earl “Skip” Pickard Jr. and sister, Terri Woodworth.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
