Dean was one of the first people that I met when I moved to Brockport and joined the fire department. He was very welcoming and took me under his wing to make me feel comfortable in my membership and feeling like I was at home! We became good friends and,along with Roger Smith,made a “team” that was active in all aspects of the fire service. The three of us would have a great time attending the NYS Chief’s convention at the Concord Hotel for many years.
Dean was the kind of friend who would do anything for you. He was always ready for a fun time or to lend a helping hand whenever you asked.
Dean will be missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing him!
Say “Hi” to Roger for me……and save me a place for our Euchre games! Miss you,buddy!
