Obituary of Peter J. Cooley

LeRoy ~ Peter J. Cooley, age 63, of Munson Street, passed away unexpectedly at home early Saturday morning, April 26, 2025.

     He was born May 15, 1961 in Batavia, a son of the late Edward and Audrey Ponivas Cooley.

     Peter enjoyed his family and was a truck driver for Kohorst Trucking in East Pembroke.

     He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Claudia Lathan Cooley; his sons, Matt Cooley and Zack Cooley; brother, Paul (Sharon) Cooley; sister-in-law, Debra Cooley, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

     Peter was predeceased by his brother, Mark Cooley.

     A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
