LeRoy ~ Robert T. Woodruff, age 83, formerly of Exchange Street, passed away Tuesday morning (June 17, 2025) at St. John’s Home in Rochester.

     He was born August 5, 1941 in Rochester, a son of the late Keith and Margaret Bradley Woodruff.

     Bob will be remembered as a very caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend to many.  After retiring from many years at Lapp Insulator, he enjoyed his walks around his hometown and morning coffee with his friends.  He proudly attended and supported all of his children’s and grandchildren’s school and sporting events.  He was an all-around sports enthusiast and was inducted into the LeRoy Sports Hall of Fame.  Bob was an avid Buffalo Bills fan as well as a supporter of Notre Dame College Football.  He was also a proud veteran, having served with the US Army.

     He will be sadly missed by his children, Bobbi (Jeff) Chester, Jill (Mark) Duby, Andy (Zee) Woodruff and Missy Woodruff; grandchildren, Andy (Molly) Chester, Lauren Chester, Tyler Duby, Zach Duby, Josh Duby, Aidan Woodruff, Siena Woodruff, Briana Woodruff and Finlay Brouse-Woodruff; sister, Joan (Archie) Cappotelli; brother, Jim (Bonnie) Woodruff; sister-in-law, Sue Woodruff, along with many nieces and nephews.

     Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sharon and his brother, Tom Woodruff.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 26 from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy, where his funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27 at 11:00 AM.  Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
