Stafford ~ Henry J. “Hank” Gorczynski, age 83, of Roanoke Road, passed away Sunday evening (June 29, 2025) at Gateway Home in Attica surrounded by his loving family.

     He was born December 25, 1941 in Dunkirk, NY, a son of the late Joseph and Alberta Deering Gorczynski.

     Hank was a 1959 graduate of Fredonia High School and then served his country honorably with the U S Army from 1962 – 1965.  Following his service, he worked many years for United Parcel Service.  Being a highly skilled craftsman, Hank eventually formed his own wood working business called Batavia Wooden Toys.

     He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Debra McClurg Gorczynski; step-children, Kris MacIntyre (Katie Crater), Stacy (Molly) MacIntyre Elliott and David MacIntyre (Laura Hale); step-grandchildren, Ryder MacIntyre, Nathan MacIntyre, Kaylee MacIntyre, McKenzie Wirth, Matthew Wirth, Tyler MacIntyre and Grace MacIntyre; step-great granddaughter, Amelia Trzecieski; In-laws, Jim (Pam) McClurg, Cindy McClurg (Ginny Weisel) and Dorothy (late Larry) McClurg, along with many nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, Hank was predeceased by his brother, Jon Gorczynski (2009) and his twin sister, Sarah Gorczynski (April 2025).

     Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 9 from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy, where his Memorial Service with military honors will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 11:00 AM.
