It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol DiFrancisco, 65, of LeRoy.

     Carol was born on March 11, 1960 to the late John F. Fay and Mary Whaley Fay.

     Carol started her teaching career at Holy Family School and subsequently taught English for 35 years at LeRoy Central School. Following her retirement she continued to substitute teach and tutor many students doing what she loved while also obtaining her real estate license.

     Carol is survived by her son Alex, daughter-in-law Lisa, their children Gino and Samuel, her sisters, Barbara Fay (Ron Almeter), Nancy (David) Elmore, Jacalyn (Reid) Whiting, Mary Jo Fay, step brothers Thomas Piccioli, Johnny (Debbie) Piccioli, Steven (Lu) Piccioli and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Carol’s Funeral Mass will be held Thursday July 24, 2025 at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy, NY, 14482.

     Carol's family will be present from 9:30 ~ 10:30 in the Parish Center Gymnasium to receive friends prior to her Funeral Mass.
