LeRoy ~ Colleen S. Faville, age 77, of Asbury Road, passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday evening, July 27, 2025.

     She was born January 17, 1948 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Lucy (DelVecchio) Hale and William Lafferty.

     In addition to her mother and father, Colleen was predeceased by her stepfather, Gordon Hale; sister, Babetta Lafferty and brother, William (Irene) Lafferty.

     Colleen will be sadly missed by her husband, James Faville; nieces, Lucie (Evan) Griffis and Debbie Lowery; nephew, Cory (Jen) Wallace; great nieces and nephews, Sarah Lowery, Michael Lowery, Brant Matthews, Jaedan Matthews, Joshua Griffis, Bevan Griffis, Brooklynn Matthews Griffis and Cory “CJ” Wallace; brother in law, Thomas Faville, along with many dear friends.

     Colleen will be remembered as a devoted wife of 51 years, a loving aunt and a dear friend to many. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish and a former leader of the Mercy Meals program.  She was a retired production supervisor, having worked for many years at CooperVision in Scottsville.

     Special thanks to Colleen’s caregivers; her niece, Lucie and dear friend, Monica Scarlotta and also to the paramedic team of Destin and George for their valiant efforts.

     Colleen’s smile along with her good and generous nature will be missed by all.

     Family and friends are invited to Colleen’s Rite of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, August 2 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.
