Rochester ~ Laura F. Putorti, age 56, formerly of LeRoy, passed away Sunday evening (August 17, 2025) at Strong Memorial Hospital.

    She was born June 13, 1969 in Batavia, N.Y., a daughter of the late Harold “Ed” and Frances Giuliano Hulse.

    Laura will be remembered as a very caring and kind person, who loved live music and traveling. She was a loving sister, aunt, step-mother, step-grandmother and dear friend to many; both locally and overseas. She considered her co-workers at DeMott & Smith as part of her “family”. Laura enjoyed listening to music, especially live performances by her friends.

    She will be sadly missed by her brother, Harold E. Hulse III (Donna Tukey); former husband, Michael Putorti, step-daughter, Jessica (Rick) Gifford; step-grandsons, Otto and Sebastian Gifford; sister-in-law, Barbara Wright; niece, Molly (Zach) Plath; caregivers/cousins, Michelle (Chris) McEwen; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

    A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held at the convenience of her family.
