Bergen ~ Patricia Ann Musshafen, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

     Born August 21, 1934, in Salem, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Grabowski) Griffin. She treasured her Salem roots and always stated she was a witch — but a good one.

     Patricia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time with family. A longtime member of St. Brigid’s Church, she was also a proud SilverSneakers participant, an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and enjoyed fishing with her husband, Don.

     She is survived by her children, Brian (Terri) Musshafen and Cindy Musshafen; grandchildren, Jason (Angel) Musshafen, Ryan (Tiffany) Musshafen, and Kelly Musshafen; great-grandchildren, Gabe Blackman, Cohen Musshafen, and Emerson Musshafen; along with extended family and many friends.

     She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Musshafen, and daughter, Kathleen Musshafen.

     A Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brigid’s Church in Bergen, with interment at St. Brigid’s Cemetery. There will be no prior calling hours.
