LeRoy ~ Daniel L. Pfendler, age 75, of South Street, passed on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

     He was born May 10, 1950 in Oil City, PA, a son of the late Raymond and Iva McKinsey Pfendler.

     Dan will be remembered as a man who enjoyed time spent with this family and friends.  He loved good conversations and was full of jokes whenever the opportunity arose to provide one.

Dan served his country proudly with the US Navy and then spent another 11 years with the Navy Reserves.  He was a member of the Long Ears & Friends Horse Club and was in general, a pet lover.

     He is survived by his devoted wife, Daryl Carli Pfendler; his daughters, Natalie Corcoran and Amanda (Darrell) Klein; grandchildren, Keaton Corcoran, Neil Klein and David Klein; brothers, Michael (Carol) Pfendler and Philip (Nancy) Pfendler; sisters-in-law, Patricia Carli and Deborah (late Thomas) Finbar; brother-in-law, Jerel (late Elaine) Carli; canine companions, Buddy, Mayzee and Lexi; feline friend, Harriett, along with many nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda (Bernie) Wieczorek; sister-in-law, Sandra (Richard) Green and brother-in-law, Ronald (Betty) Carli.

     Special thanks to the LeRoy Ambulance Service, LeRoy Fire Department, Wyoming County Community Hospital ER and 3rd Floor, and the Wyoming County Nursing Home Aqua Unit Staff.

     Dan will be laid to rest privately at the Western NY National Cemetery at the convenience of his family.

     Memorials may be made to Dan’s family for donations to charities of their choice.
