Timothy Fredrick Sheflin, “Pierre” a lifelong and proud LeRoyan, passed away on August 24, 2025.

     He was born January 31, 1947 to the late James and M. Venetta Sheflin.  Tim is predeceased by his older brothers and sisters-in-law; James T. ‘Terry’ Sheflin, Richard (Marion) Sheflin, and Robert (Lorraine) Sheflin. 

     He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

     Tim served his country in Vietnam and was extremely active in the LeRoy Serviceman’s Club for many years, where he served as Commander.  He was most proud of his lifetime membership to the American Legion, granted this past spring. The Legion was his home and he truly enjoyed the comradery of his friends and family there, along with trivia nights. While not a man of sentimental words, he sincerely appreciated the care and support provided to him by many, especially Mike Hart and Nancy Shine Rizzo as his health declined.

     He will be remembered for his love of Quick Draw and scratch-offs, Civil War history, reading, photography, and a genetic addiction to Pepsi. While occasionally a curmudgeon, he was a dearly beloved Uncle who will be missed and fondly remembered.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on September 12, 2025, at the Western NY National Cemetery in Pembroke.  Those attending are asked to be present by 10:45 AM.

     A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on September 13, 2025 from noon to 2:30 PM at the LeRoy Serviceman’s Club (Legion), 53 West Main Street, LeRoy.
