LeRoy ~ Bonita A. “Bonnie” Clarke, age 84, of Westacott Road, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Highland Hospital.

     She was born June 13, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN, a daughter of the late Hubert and Mildred Kultala Kraemer.

     Bonnie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend.  She provided care for over 30 years as an LPN, starting at the Bramoor Home and eventually retiring from the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.  She was known as a great seamstress and enjoyed quilting, making many very nice afghan blankets.  She was also known for her love of Werther’s Candy.

     She is survived by her sons, Calvin (Celeste) Clarke and Philip Clarke (Lori Blaise); grandchildren, Ryan Clarke, Katrina (Kenji) Ehrlich, Alexiana Clarke, Liberty Clarke, Roderich Clarke, William Clarke and Grace Clarke; great-grandchildren, Lillian Clarke, Natalie Clarke, Naomi Ehrlich and Taiyo Ehrlich; sisters, Cynthia Draper and Kathleen Winters; her canine companion, Honey Bear, along with many nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Douglas H. Clarke, her brother, William Kraemer and brother-in-law, Floyd Winters.

     Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wilmot Cancer Center.
