Marian J. (Mills) Robertson, age 86, passed away peacefully in the loving presence of her family, in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 8th at Highland Hospital.

     Marian was born in LeRoy on December 4, 1938 a daughter of the late Francis and Fern (Harvie) Mills. She was a life-long resident of LeRoy, and member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish.

     Marian will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. Her kindness, compassion, generosity and smile were appreciated and admired by all that knew her. Her positive attitude, strength and determination over this past year of health struggles was remarkable. 

     Marian was a graduate of St. Peter’s School in LeRoy and of Notre Dame High School in Batavia. After raising her six children, Marian worked at Ben Franklin before retiring as manager of Eckerd Drug Store, in LeRoy, in 1998.

     Marian will be sadly missed by her daughters, Kimberly (Daniel) Pasquale, Tammera Robertson, Michele (Donald) Striejewske and her two sons, Chad (Kathleen) Robertson and Kevin Robertson; 8 grandchildren; Matthew, Brittany, Brock, Ashley, Jennifer, David, Chad and Alix, 2 great-grandchildren Kylie and Emma, a sister Donna (Joseph) O’Geen and brother, Edward (Diane) Mills, sister-in-law Donna Mills, along with many cousins, several nieces, including her goddaughter, Sister Janet Eppolito, who she shared a very special bond with, nephews and many loyal friends including her “Notre Dame Friends”, who she shared nearly 75 years of friendship and monthly lunches with.

     In addition to her parents, Marian was predeceased in 2008 by her husband of 49 years, Donald (Hooks) Robertson; son, Todd P. Robertson; grandson, Jacob; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Joan (John) Eppolito, Noma (Joseph) LoCastro; brother, Robert Mills; brother-in-law, William Robertson Jr; nephew, Richard Mills and nieces, Francis and Mary Fern LoCastro.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 13th from 5 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 14th at 11 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St. in LeRoy.
