Bergen ~ Henry “Hank” Haymon, age 90, went to the Lord peacefully on Wednesday November 12th, 2025 New York State Veterans Home in Batavia. 

     Hank was born December 13, 1934 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the son of the late Ida Simpson Burch.

     After serving his country with the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict, Hank came back to Western New York and married the love of his life, Muriel “Mickie” Lightholder.  They celebrated 68 years of marriage prior to her passing. 

     Mickie and Hank were blessed with four sons; David (Bonnie), Michael (Cindy), Daniel (Susan) and Mark (Cyndi), who in turn provided 8 grandchildren and ultimately 21 great-grandchildren.

     A Celebration of Hank’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025  at 1:00 PM at Stone Church Presbyterian Church, 7549 S. Lake Road, Bergen, N.Y. 14416, where family and friends will honor and remember him.
