LeRoy ~ Cecilia Ann Hahn, age 83, of Selden Road, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday evening, November 12, 2025.

     She was born November 23, 1941 in Belfast, NY, a daughter of the late Clarence and Genevieve Smith Whalen.

     Cecilia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend to many.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was a family gathering at Letchworth State Park or a simple trip to the casino.  She was always willing to give back to her community and did so by volunteering at the LeRoy Food Pantry.  She also worked many years in the cafeteria at LeRoy Central School, where she enjoyed interacting with the students.

     She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, David J. Hahn; she was the cherished mom of her two children, William “Bill” Hahn of LeRoy and Linda (Jason) Tomporowski of Batavia; she was the wonderful grandmother of her three grandsons, David Hahn, Alex Hahn and Philip Hahn.  She is also survived by her brother, Stephen (Linda) Whalen of IL; brother-in-law, Albert Strittmather of Belmont, NY, along with nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     In addition to her parents, Cecilia was predeceased by her brother, Joseph (Peggy) Whalen and her sister, Margaret Strittmather.

     Family and friends may gather for a Celebration of Cecilia’s Life on Saturday, November 22 from 12 ~ 4 PM at the LeRoy Moose Center, 21 Bank Street, LeRoy.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in Memory of Cecilia are suggested to the LeRoy Food Pantry, 48 Main Street, LeRoy, NY 14482
