Batavia ~ Norma E. Phillips, age 81, of Clinton Street Road, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday evening (November 27, 2025) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

     She was born January 4, 1944 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Judson and Margaret Halliday French.

     Norma will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many.  She was very proud of her Scottish heritage and loved listening to the playing of bagpipes.  Her fondness of music led her to become a member of Mighty St. Joe’s Drum and Bugle Corps.  Norma had a love for horses and riding.  She was a Joey Logano NASCAR fan and in her younger years, was a successful belly dancer.  Norma also had a very artistic side to her, creating many crafts through her expertise of sewing, knitting and crocheting.

     She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Dana Phillips; her sons, Don (Melanie) Belluscio and Aaron (Jamie) Belluscio; stepdaughter, Tracy (Mike) Chester; 7 grandchildren, Toby Belluscio, Jaykob Belluscio, Alexandra Belluscio, Jacen Belluscio, Brendan Porey, Kristen Bovee and Rachel Hume, along with many dear friends.

     In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her grandchildren, Taylor Belluscio and Cody Belluscio and stepson, Brian Phillips.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 4 from 4 ~ 6:30 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy, where a Celebration of Norma’s Life Service will be held at 6:30 PM.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Norma are suggested to St. James Episcopal Church, 405 East Main Street, Batavia, N.Y. 14020
