Phyllis A. Jackson, 88, of LeRoy NY passed away suddenly on December 6, 2025 at Wedgewood Nursing Home in Spencerport NY.

     Phyllis was born in LeRoy NY to Samuel Arrington Sr. and Daisy Arrington on April 30, 1937.

     She went to LeRoy Central High School and graduated in 1955. She was one of the best cheerleaders and well known for her outgoing team spirit. She went on to Rochester Business Institute and worked for the telephone company. She decided NYC would be her next chapter and there she worked at Korvettes for many years. She eventually made it back home to be closer to family and worked at BOK Industries before she retired.

     She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel M. Sr. and Daisy (Crowe) Arrington; brothers, Samuel M. Jr., Ralph T. (Geneva), Kermit and John Arrington (Thelma); sisters and brothers-in-law, Camilla and Adolph Boyer and Winifred and Charles Majors, and grandson, Joshua Guerrier.

She is survived by her children, Cecil A. Walker (Adrienne Belle-Walker) and Rhonda M. Jackson; grandchildren, Jalen, Jordan, Elijah and Jabril; great grandchildren , Rylie and Rohan; sibling, James L. Arrington, sister-in-law, Irene Arrington, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     Family and friends are invited to call from 3 ~ 7 PM on Friday December 12, 2025 at Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road, LeRoy NY 14482, where her Funeral/Celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Private family interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery, LeRoy.

     In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Lake Plains Dialysis, 587 E. Main Street, Batavia NY 14020.
