Larry R. Guiste, age 74, of Stafford, died suddenly on December 30, 2025.

     He was born January 31, 1951, the son of the late Melvin and Della King Guiste.

     Larry worked and retired from the YMCA in Batavia.  He enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and playing lottery scratch-offs.

     Surviving are his two sisters, Patricia (Gary) Murray of Basom and Linda Giess of Middleport; his four brothers, Melvin Guiste of Florida, Jim (Penny) Guiste of Seattle, WA, Daniel Guiste (Felicidad Doty) of Stafford and Jerry (Carla) Guiste of Oakfield, along with many nieces and nephews.

     Larry was the brother of the late Richard A. Guiste who died March 22, 2001.

     A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at a later date and he will be laid to rest at the Reed Cemetery in Oakfield.
