Bergen ~ Barbara A. Robinson, age 82, of Buffalo Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2nd at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. 

     She was born May 22, 1943 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Daniel Lovell and Norine Lovell. 

     Barb was a homemaker who was devoted to her children.  She was known for baking cakes for birthday parties and for friends and family.  Her chocolate chip cookies, strawberry jam, and rhubarb pies were famous! She enjoyed to can and freeze vegetables from the garden.  She was an active member of the community having been a Scout leader, attended the village of Bergen and town of Riga board meetings and the Citizens Advisory Board meetings for the Mill Seat landfill. She was a longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Churchville, New York.

     She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Deborah (Steve) Niedziela of Ogden, NY, her sons, Eric (Christie) Robinson of Greece, NY, Charles (Elizabeth) Robinson of Orchard Park, NY and Phillip Robinson of Bergen; grandchildren, Andrew and Katherine Niedziela, Ryley, Elijah, Eloise, Annabelle, Isaiah and Levi Robinson-Carrig; fur grand pups, Cammie, CeCe, Superman; brother, Bruce (Sue ) Lovell of Greece, NY, along with several nieces, nephew and countless friends.

     In addition to her parents, Barb was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Robinson. 

     Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass, which will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 11 N. Main Street, Churchville, NY on Saturday, January 17th at 10:00 AM.  A private burial will be held following the mass for immediate family.  

     A Celebration of Barb’s life will be held at a later date that will be announced.
