Batavia ~ Dawn M. Calkins, age 63, of Morton Avenue, passed away Tuesday afternoon (May 19, 2026) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

     She was born August 13, 1962 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Donald and Catherine Smith Hall Sr.

     Dawn will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed working in her gardens, canning tomatoes, camping and sewing.

     She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard; her sons, Scott (Stephanie) Calkins and Daniel (Deanna) Calkins; grandchildren, Ezra, Elijah, Ronan, Harrison and Cecelia, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     In addition to her parents, Dawn was predeceased by her brothers, Eric Hall and Donald Hall Jr.
