Beverly Ann Higley Miller Hess, age 88, of LeRoy, passed away Monday evening, June 1, 2026 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     She was born August 9, 1937 in Batavia, daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Harloff Higley.

     Beverly was a member of the LeRoy United Methodist Church and retired from Lapp Insulator in 2000.  She enjoyed camping, volunteering and her “Music Lady” ministry.

     She is survived by her sons, Ray M. Miller Jr. (Katie) of S.C. and James M. Miller of Rochester; grandchildren, James M. Jr., Lindsay and Abbey; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Barber, Richard (Sandra) Higley and sisters-in-law, Patricia Higley and Donna Higley; stepchildren, Leon, Dean and Marion, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

     In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her husbands, Ray M. Miller and Leon Hess; brothers, Myron Higley and Roger Higley; brother-in-law, Bill C. Barber and stepdaughter, Patricia Hess.

     Family and friends may call on Saturday, June 6 from 2 ~ 3 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy, where services will be held at 3:00 PM.  Interment will be private in Canaseraga Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the LeRoy United Methodist Church, 10 Trigon Park, LeRoy, N.Y. 14482 in Beverly’s memory.
