Stafford ~ Thomas M. Steffenilla, age 50, of Bartof Road, passed away Thursday (Dec. 29, 2016) after a long and courageous battle with cancer, a disease he fought with overwhelming dignity.
He was born December 23, 1966 in Rochester, a son of Charles Steffenilla and Dawn Kazmark Steffenilla.
Tom was all about his family. He loved to attend his children's sporting and school events. He was a very hard worker, both at home and at his business, Adept Equipment Services Inc. Tom was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and an all around sportsman.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 20 years, Lori Pietrzykowski Steffenilla, his children, Jacob, Kassidy and Lindsey; his father, Charles Steffenilla (Kathryn) of Lockport; his mother, Dawn Steffenilla (Joe) of Rochester; his brother, Tod Steffenilla of VA; his sister, Tobi (Mark) Simeone of Lockport, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Rite of Christian Burial on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy. Interment with military honors will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Tom's family in order to establish education funds for his children.
