Stafford ~ Paul F. "The Chief" Pangrazio Sr., age 90, of Transit Road, passed away Saturday evening (July 14, 2018) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     He was born May 16, 1928 in Caledonia, NY, a son of the late Anthony and Helen Skelly Grayson.

     Paul was a very loving person, who was proud of his family, especially his grandsons and great-grandchildren.  He touched many lives through his work and community interaction and was always willing to lend a hand to a friend.  He was involved with harness horseracing for over 20 years and an avid jogger along Transit Road for over 35 years, where his foot prints will always be seen.  He was also an avid NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia Ladd Pangrazio; his children, Paul Pangrazio Jr., Darrell Pangrazio and Cheryl (Timothy) Thomas; his grandsons, Jack McGirr and Justin McGirr (Marybeth Barone); great-grandchildren, Brody, Brielle, Justin and Alyse McGirr; sister, Lorraine Maxwell, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Pangrazio; grandson, Darrell Jason Pangrazio, sisters, Regina (John) Alexyn and Audrey (Al) Finco and brother in law, Leo Maxwell.

     No prior visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Wednesday, July 18 at 11:00 AM at the Stafford Rural Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either the Family or the American Heart Association.

     As "The Chief" would say, "Till next time America!!"
