Albert Palmer, 76, of Warsaw, NY was born on Dec 24, 1947 and entered the gates of heaven on April 25th, 2024 after a hard fought battle with cancer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Doris Palmer, as well as his brother, Joseph “Frank” Palmer.

     Al was born in Batavia, NY and graduated from Notre Dame High school in 1965. He served in the National Guard for over 20 years and worked as a Water Plant Operator for the City of Batavia for over 30 years. Al loved being active, he loved playing pickleball, working around his hobby farm, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Most of all, Al enjoyed any time he could spend with his friends and family.

     Al is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne; children, Nicole Palmer, Frank (Krista) Palmer, Laura (Dave) Williams, Aaron Pahuta and Amanda Palmer; grandchildren, Rian, Dylan, Sadie, Sophie, Isaac and Addison. He is also survived by his sisters, Josette Dobiesz and Linda Palmer; niece, Lindsay (TJ) Rinaldo and nephew, Craig (Desiree) Dobiesz.

     Family and friends are invited to join us in a Celebration Service of Al’s life on Wednesday May 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Northgate Free Methodist Church, 8160 Bank Street Rd, Batavia, NY 14020. Light refreshments will be served after the service as we reminisce about all our fond and funny memories of Al.

     In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Northgate FMC or Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2583 Main Road, East Pembroke, NY 14056.
