Melinda P. Donovan of Fairport passed away on May 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at age 75.

Melinda is pre-deceased by her Father and Mother, Anthony and Loretta Parnell; her sister, Anntoni Dubois; brother, John Parnell; Nephew and Nieces, Casey J. Parnell, Lindsey R. Riorden, and Jessica D. Griffin.

Melinda is survived by her children, Brandon Stout (Lisa Rozell) and Rachel (Frank) Vacanti. Grandchildren, Bryce Stout, Brock Stout, Harrison Mudvary, and Greenley Vacanti. Siblings, Donald Parnell (Peggy), Colette Klinger, Lynette Griffin (Russ Philp), Mary Moochler (Mark), David Parnell (Joan), Patty Thiel (Steve), Margaret Cocking (Mark), Valerie Kay (Mark), Danny Parnell (Mel) and Brother in law, Gilbert Dubois.

Melinda was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was always there to listen and give good advice. Melinda loved her morning cup of coffee, rummage sales, gardening, word searches, and praying. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Melinda’s funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, NY 14482. Interment will follow at St. Columba Cemetery.
