Batavia ~ Lyle James Dodge, age 58, of Spencer Court, passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday evening, August 8, 2024.

Lyle is survived by his brother, Lloyd Dodge (Veronica), sisters, Barbara Bundrock(Brian) and Cindy Fisher(Mark), along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Colleen; his mother, Nancy Dodge Wilson; brother, Loren Dodge and father, Lloyd Dodge Sr.

He was a faithful employee of Tops Markets in Batavia. He lived briefly in Appleton Wisconsin, where he met his wife, Colleen whom he referred to as CC.

He loved church, shopping both in stores and on line. He was a big Dr Who fan. He had an uncanny sense of humor and loved his family very much. He was loyal and true to everyone he met.

Services for Lyle will be private at the convenience of his family.

In lieu of any flowers, contributions in memory of Lyle are suggested to a homeless shelter or soup kitchen, as this is where Lyle would spend his time on Thanksgiving rather than spending it with his family.
