I am so sorry to Barb's family. She was a great person and was so nice. She made me feel welcomed to family gatherings even though I wasn't invited.

I thought I was done, but I am not. Barb was a bit skittish around dogs, especially my Mastiffs. It took alot of work for her to warm up to them. This is the latest pic of her and Lancelot and a bit of freaking out. I always laughed because Lancelot loved her, he was used to her coming over every week and was simply a gentle giant. She was just never sure about that and as you can see her initial expression, lol. He just wanted her snacks. They ended up figuring it out and Barb loved him in the end.
Then in this little moment at Karen's house, she had Denny on her lap, what??? She liked this little toothless Pom Pom. Go figure, Sooo cute.
I wanted to add one more Maroon 5 selfie that Karen took. We were at KeyBank Center and did not think we were going. It was a severe storm in our area, power lines down everywhere. I would have been good staying home. We even called Key Bank Center to see if the show was still on. We could not believe that it was, but it wasn't going to stop Barb from seeing Adam. She said she would drive...I always volunteered to sit in the back because Barb was a bit of a race car driver, must be in her blood. We went and by the time we got to Buffalo, there was no storm, it was meant to be. What a fun night and ride (with my eyes closed) that was.
Love your love of life Barb, Kisses to you!!!

The highlight of our summers with Barb were spent at the pool. We made the time to spend as many evenings as we could and toward the end of summer, we would have one big food, cocktail and swimming party.
I have always remembered the words my Mother-in-law said to me...make time for your girlfriends. They will always be there for you. She had a number of pool parties at my house, it was wonderful to see her enjoying that time with the girls.
As you can see, we had quite alot of fun with our girls. Barb was not shy about riding that Flamingo! We laughed so much at her mastering it. So many memories and pics, I could fill this memory tribute book.
My last pic is our selfie from Barb and Dicks 50th Anniversary, what a joyous day.
I cannot imagine life without Barb, I really can't. I know she is in a greater place as I have already had a sign. Barb was one in a million, a remarkable friend and Sister-in-law. I will miss and think of her forever until we meet again. God Speed Barb.

I have sooooo many happy memories with Barb. I could post hundreds of pictures and thoughts. 42 years of being the best sister-in-law, friend, rock, rescuer and my everything. I have captured some highlights. Barb was one of our workout ladies, she would put us to shame at times and I was so proud of how hard she worked. It was our gossip time, our catch up time our feel good about ourselves time. She was Miquel's favorite for all of the effort she put in.
Barb also had a love of concerts. We went to several together. You see us posing with duck lips, getting ready for Jon Bon Jovi...it's a thing. Then our little group picture, my best friend Jenn Cowell took the picture. She and I did a selfie when Jon started singing. Well she and I had a battleground in the front row and I thought for sure she was going to have a knockdown drag out with some obnoxious girls who didn't have front row seats, they were shoving their way in and Barb took charge. It was awesome. Then Barb looked up at Jon and gave him a little wave. Jon leaned over and waved back to her. I told her don't think you are stealing my man! We laughed about that all of the time.
St Patricks Day was spent at the Eagle drinking Irish somethings, quite a good time, one of our girls nights out.
Barb was the Queen of Holidays, she always made sure if any of us didn't have plans that we were invited. Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter, I was always invited. Our Thanksgiving picture was at Lorie's house. Holidays were more special with Barb at the helm. I always joked with her that she was the Martha Stewart of Holidays.
We went to a couple of Maroon 5 concerts, she loved Adam Levine and Maroon 5. The picture is one of the VIP concerts we attended.
I talked Barb into Igloo Dining during our girls Christmas shopping excursion. She was a bit reluctant, but when we got into the Igloo, it was all fun and games with the waiter. It was quite warm and cozy in there and the food was amazing. We shopped every Christmas and had our outings in various towns. We always celebrated each of our foursome's Birthdays...Karen, Lisa, Barb and I. We really enjoyed getting out together.
I can remember there were times we were just out spontaneously shopping and she would have me call Dick to tell him to just cook a hot dog as she wasn't coming home in time for dinner. After a couple of those times, I couldn't get through it without laughing. So many good times.

So sorry to all her family and friends. Barb lived a lot of life in her 78 years. She took me under her wing and showed me how to have fun the right way. Always including me in so many activities she would do. I will miss the shopping trips, pool parties, game nights, dancing, concerts, vacations, and all the laughing we did. I love you and miss you like crazy.
With all my love, Karen Curts
