LeRoy ~ Sharron F. Scott, age 85, of East Main Road, passed away Sunday evening (Dec. 22, 2024) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

     She was born June 28, 1939 in Batavia, a daughter of the late William and Evelyn Rutherford Laney.

     Sharron will be remembered as a loving and caring person, who enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends.  She was also very devoted to her faith and a member of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate through her church parish. 

     She is survived by her children, Linda (Charles) Metz of Leicester, Kenneth Scott of LeRoy, Lisa (Kevin) Schicker of York, Kevin (Jen) Scott of Leicester and Kelly Scott of LeRoy, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gene “Scotty” Scott; son, Keith Scott and granddaughter, Angela Chen.

     Family and friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 29 from 2 ~ 6 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 30 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sharron are suggested to Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, NY 14482
