LeRoy ~ Joanne Orlando, age 65, of Genesee Street, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday morning (Jan. 27, 2015). Ms. Orlando was born June 20, 1949 in Rochester, N.Y., a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary "Betty" Trimble Orlando. She will be remembered as a loving sister and aunt, who cherished her family and would attend her nephews' and great-nephews' activities and sporting events. She is survived by her brother, Joseph (Bev) Orlando of LeRoy and her sister, Patricia (Dean) Messina of Dunkirk; her nieces and nephews, Dawn Orlando, Beth Orlando, Christopher Messina, Andrew Messina and Philip Messina; her great-nephews, Josh, Nate, Cristian and Timmy; her aunts, Sarah Lukas of Batavia and Connie Orlando of Rochester. Ms. Orlando was predeceased by her father, Joseph in 2008 and her mother, Betty in 2014 and a great-nephew, Ryan Orlando. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1 ~ 4 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where services will be held at 4 PM. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the "Activities Fund" at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home, 10 Munson St., LeRoy, NY 14482.
