There are no words to express the deep sadness that fills my heart for myself and the rest of the family at the loss of our beloved father and grandfather. The only word that even seems to remotely express my true feelings would be “BLESSED”. And that is what we are. I am blessed to have had you as my dad for the past 17+ years.Blessed that you loved my children as your grandsons and that they were able to have a grandfather that was deserving of their love in you. Blessed that because of you we were able to see the true unselfish love that a father has for his children and grandchildren. Thank you for teaching us what family is and for allowing us to remain family forever. All that is good in this world is what you were and will always be.There is an emptiness that permeates the days knowing that we can no longer turn to you dad; for advice, comfort, solace, joy, and undying love…all of the things that you so lovingly gave to us. You will live forever in our hearts and our memories.
