Obituary of Edward Panek

Batavia ~ Edward Panek , age 56, passed away early Saturday morning (Feb. 28, 2015) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Mr. Panek was born July 25, 1958 in Batavia, N.Y., a son of the late Edward and Rosemary Lamendola Panek. He enjoyed motorcycles and family gatherings. He also resided in Daytona for several years, where he loved to watch nascar racing and go fishing every chance he had. Mr. Panek is survived by his son, Daniel Panek (Sarah Bell) of LeRoy; brothers, Duane (Carol) Lamendola of Chili, Robert Panek of Daytona Beach and Ronald (Gerri) Panek of Wyoming; sisters, Denise (Robert) Renouf of Hornell, Sheree Panek of Pavilion and Mary (David) Coates of LeRoy; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Heather Panek. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Ed's Life on Saturday, March 7 from 1 ~ 5 PM at the LeRoy American Legion, 53 W. Main Street. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
