It was just about 7 years ago when I answered an ad for an apartment. I was just recently divorced and had 2 children, ages 6 and 10 at the time. George showed me the apartment and told me the rent was $550. I accepted the apartment and moved in. It was the 2nd floor of the old farmhouse on Clipnock, next to the old chicken coop. I lived there 2 years with my children. George ended up telling me I only had to pay $500 for the rent. He was always dropping off veggies on my doorstep. My kids and I always enjoyed going down to his house to pay the rent and visit with him and Roxy. He was a very thoughtful man. He always looked out for me and was asking if I needed anything. I am sorry that I haven't been to visit him in quite some time. He will be sadly missed and always in my thoughts.
