Batavia ~ Marjorie A. McWilliams, age 83, of Richmond Avenue, passed away Thursday evening (Nov. 5, 2015) at United Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. McWilliams was born August 5, 1932 in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Millard and Cora Bailey MacDonald. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who was devoted to her family. She was a child care provider at the Lovey Day Care Center in LeRoy, where she was known to provide love and guidance to "her children" like they were her own. She was involved in many local civic organizations, was a girl scout leader and she and her late husband, Albin, were former owners of the LeRoy Gazette. Mrs. McWilliams is survived by her children, Brenda (Mike) Vinci of Stafford, Barbara Clark of LeRoy, Judith Guminiak of Hermon, N.Y. and Michael (Dawn) McWilliams of Freeville, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and her sister, Gail (Robert) Hayne of Scottsdale, AZ and 1 nephew. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where her funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. Interment in the Leicester Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310, White Plains, NY 10605 or American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
