Obituary of Dale R. Morrison

LeRoy ~ Dale R. Morrison, age 73, of Linwood Road, overcame his final battle on February 1, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born June 25, 1942 in Watertown, N.Y., a son of the late Henry and Virginia Ward Morrison. He enjoyed being a husband and a dad, but loved being a "Papa" to his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a man who was an avid NY Yankees fan and enjoyed watching most sports, horseracing and playing poker and euchre. He also liked to travel and look for that next "new car deal". He is survived by his loving wife of over 52 years, Dolores "Dodie" Hadley Morrison; his children, Laura (Todd) Ward of LeRoy and Jeffrey (Julie) Morrison of Chili; his grandchildren, Tyler Ward, Zachary Ward, Hannah Morrison and David Morrison; his brothers, David (Patti) Morrison of Fairport, Terry Morrison of FL and William Morrison of FL; special niece, Kelly (Chris) Jahn and their children, Simon and Anna; special nephew, Matthew (Michelle) Morrison, along with other nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald and a sister, Carol. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 ~ 7 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the National Parkinson Foundation.
