Obituary of Robert E. Roggow

Stafford/Warsaw ~ Robert E. Roggow, age 68 of Fargo Road, passed away on Tuesday morning (February 23, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
He was born June 20, 1947 in Batavia, a son of the late Ward and Mabel Graham Roggow.
Bob was very proud of his service with the U S Air Force, where he served as a weapons mechanic and weapons maintenance supervisor. After his tour of duty, Bob went to work for IBM in Rochester as a computer technician for over 30 years. He was a devoted member and past commander of the Batavia VFW Post 1602, as well as a member of the Batavia American Legion, the Vietnam Veterans of Amercia, the LeRoy Moose Family Center and the Perry Sportsmans Club.
He will be sadly missed by his loving fiancée, Linda Morgan; his children, Pamela (Steven) Tiede of Painter, VA and Michael Roggow of Norfolk, VA; his sister, Roberta (John) Webb of Silver Springs; his brother, Herbert (Donna) Roggow of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Glory, Asher, Judah, Thomas and Noah; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Roggow.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 2 ~ 4 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where services with military honors will be held at 4:00 P.M. Interment in the Warsaw Cemetery will be at the convenience of his family.
