LeRoy ~ Lee E. Schramm, age 76, passed away on Saturday morning (January 19, 2013) at Crossroads House after a brief illness. He was born April 28, 1936 in Linwood, N.Y., a son of the late Edmund and Elsie (Torrey) Schramm. Lee was retired from Lapp Insulator after a 33 year career. He was predeceased by his wife, Leah, son-in-law, Bill Thompson and a sister, May Donaghue. Lee is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Thompson and his son, Edmund (Dorothy) Schramm, grandchildren, Zachary and Tory Thompson, his sister, Lois (Clayton) Dimick, along with an uncle, Clarence Torrey and many nieces and nephews. There are no prior calling hours. A celebration of Lee’s life will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 4 ~ 7 PM at the Stafford Fire Hall. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of any flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads House, 11 Liberty Street, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, N.Y. 14021.
