Obituary of Angeline M. Carson

LeRoy ~ Angeline M. Carson, age 95, of South Street Road, passed away Thursday evening (May 26, 2016) at Crossroads House in Batavia after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Mrs. Carson was born August 31, 1920 in LeRoy, a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Ciarli DelVecchio. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed reading, doing puzzle books and visiting with family, friends and neighbors. She is survived by her children, Roberta (John) Hardy of VA, Regina (Ray) Ashley of LeRoy, Elizabeth (Edgerton) John of Geneva and John W. (Diane) Carson of NC; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Carson in 1981 and 9 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Carson's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 11 A.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road, (Rt. 19), LeRoy, with interment to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Crossroads House, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, N.Y. 14021.
