LeRoy ~ Floyd James Meacham, age 85, formerly of Franklinville, N.Y., passed away Friday afternoon (June 3, 2016) at the VA Health System in Buffalo.
Mr. Meacham was born March 8, 1931 in Franklinville, a son of the late Amos and Florence Pettit Meacham.
He will be remembered as a very knowledgeable man in the electronics field. He also was very musically inclined and could play several different instruments. He was a proud US Army veteran and a very proud member of the Jim Kruppner "Wyoming Valley Boys", a local square dance band.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anna Jewell Meacham; his son, Eric Meacham, 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Services will be private and memorials are suggested to the Franklinville Volunteer Fire Dept., 75 N. Main Street, Franklinville, NY 14737.
