Obituary of Gerald J. Janiszeski

LeRoy ~ Gerald J. Janiszeski, age 63, of North Street, passed away early Monday morning (July 25, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born June 26, 1953 in Buffalo, a son of the late Robert and Jean Krayenvenger Janiszeski. Gerald was all about his family and just idolized his two grandsons. He also enjoyed golfing and camping with his brothers and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Betty Duringer Janiszeski; his children, Jamie (Daniel) Nichols, Jared Janiszeski and Joshua Janiszeski, all of LeRoy; grandsons, Jaxon and Owen Nichols; his siblings, Michael (Marlene) Janiszeski, Thomas (Terry) Janiszeski, Daniel (Joan) Janiszeski, Laurie (Eric) Rosier, Timothy (Jenn) Janiszeski, Jeanne (John) Seitz, Andrew Janiszeski and Amy (John) Coots; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Janiszeski; mother-in-law, Dolores Duringer, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Christopher. A Celebration of Gerald's Life will be held at a later date and memorials may be made to the family to establish an education fund for Gerald's grandsons.
