I just heard of Dick's passing and am so sorry he is gone. He was always so sweet and such a nice man. He loved my corvette and soon had one of his own. Always teasing when I wasn't driving it. I will miss running into him and having a laugh. I will keep his wonderful family in my thoughts and prayers. May you all find peace in your memories at this sad time.

Debbie, I. Just heard about Dick's passing. I worked with him in Family Court for years and Ronn and he had a lot in common (served in Vietnam & were five days apart age-wise), so they had a bond there. I saw Dick at our friend's funeral awhile back. My friend, Valerie, tells me she is your cousin. Our prayers to you and your whole family through your difficult time. Elaine & Ronn Pommerening

Really sad to hear this. I always thought of the Cone family as an extension of ours. Spending our summers together in Canada. Growing up with Arnold teaching me how to waterski and Elnora as my babysitter. Then as I’m older working with Steve at the DOT. Seeing Dick at just about every parade and his family here and there, like Lori out on Black Friday. I really miss those times.

Debi sorry to hear about Dick. We were great friends while I was a police officer in Leroy, before going to the Sheriff's Office in Colorado in 1978. You all were great friends, who we spent alot of time with. Im sure Dick will be missed by many. RIP buddy.

Truly Dick has a place in heaven. He was a good and faithful Husband and Father. As a child I always looked up to him as a Hero. I never new him to go out of his way to hurt anyone. As a deputy his motivation was to help others. I think that is what we are all supposed to do in this life. Please have some comfort in knowing he has gone to a better place with no pain or troubles. Keep close to one another and God will give you the strength to endure. God Bless you all.
