Rochester ~ Louis R. Baglio, age 91, passed away early Sunday morning (Jan. 15, 2017) at Unity Hospital. He was born November 1, 1925 in Perry, NY, a son of the late Frank and Frances Hinrich Baglio. Mr. Baglio was a very loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be deeply missed by his family. He was a very proud U.S. Marine veteran. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling with his wife and doing ancestry research. He was also a retiree from Bausch & Lomb, where he worked for many years as an accountant. He is survived by his children, Cheryl (David) Dillman of Rochester, Brenda Williams of Bergen and Craig (Patricia) Baglio of Rochester; grandchildren, Jason (Whitney) Rowland, David (Christine) Dillman, Robert (Lisa) Williams, Aimee (Jeff) Clauss, Jennifer (Frank) Trigilio, Christopher Williams, Samantha Williams, Nicholas Baglio, Brian Baglio, Joshua Baglio, Zachary Baglio, Sara Baglio and Matthew Baglio, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jeanette Baglio in 2011. Family and friends are invited to his Rite of Christian Burial on Friday, Jan. 20 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the NYS Veterans Home at Batavia, 220 Richmond Ave., Batavia, NY 14020.
